The Plant Physiology and Plant Microbe Interaction Laboratory (PPMI) have a solid position in plant physiology and microbe interactions, principally between plant growth promoting rhizobacteria Azospirillum and Bradyrhizobium and maize, soybean or wheat. This research line has been studied for over 20 years in our laboratory, principally at level of bacterial capacity to produce and metabolize phytohormones as gibberellins, auxins, citokynins, abscisic acid and ethylene and it has been financed by several inoculants companies from Argentina and Europe.
