SUMMARY
In this research work, third use IVD-B were used in order to evaluate their effectiveness to stimulate postpartum ovarian activity in Girolando females under two synchronization protocols in order to carry out fixed-time embryo transfer. It was observed that preovulatory follicles <11 mm, corpora lutea <10 mm and possible embryonic vesicles <15 mm, did not reach the 90-day pregnancy rate. The pregnancy rate was 46.6% for T0 and 66.6% for T1.
Comparing the treatments (T0 synchronization vs presynchronization + T1 synchronization) and their effect on each of the variables (preovulatory follicle, corpus luteum and embryonic vesicle), complemented with the variable “Pregnancy score” found subjectively by follow-up in the results of each animal taking into account the number of calving and the treatment effect for each one of them; It was observed that the presynchronization effect of T1 treatment positively affects the size of the preovulatory follicle, corpus luteum and embryonic vesicle, confirmed in turn by the pregnancy score obtained. The variables pre-ovulatory follicle, Corpus luteum and Embryonic vesicle showed significant differences (p <0.05) in favor of 1 T1 treatment with presynchronization.
In the GLM procedure, Duncan's multiple range test, which controls for the type III comparisonwise error index, shows the results of the variables analyzed for the treatment effect, calving number and IVD. Duncan's multiple range test, when analyzing the variables of the pre-ovulatory follicle FP, the corpus luteum CL and the embryonic vesicle VE, showed significant differences (p <0.05) in favor of the 1 T1 treatment. For the FP variable, significant differences were found (p <0.05) in favor of the treatment group 1 T1, which shows that presynchronization improves the follicular diameter and in turn the production of greater LH pulses, stimulating a greater production of estradiol. leading to the LH surge and ovulation after synchronization. The evaluation of the CL variable presented significant differences (p <0.05) in the treatment group 1 T1 since with a mean> 10mm it can reduce early embryonic mortality. There is a relationship between the size of the CL, the concentration of P4 and the percentage of pregnancy. In the case of the embryonic vesicle VE, significant differences (p <0.05) could be observed for the treatment group 1 T1 with a mean of 20.4 mm over that of the control group treatment 0 T0 of 17.5 mm, presenting a 30-day pregnancy rate of 66.6 and 46.6% respectively.
