Tecna SRL, founded in 1994, studies, develops, and produces innovative diagnostics. The business was created by a group of chemists and biologists with many years of industrial experience in the area of immunodiagnostic kits.
Tecna represents a bridge between advanced biotechnology and food industry; it uses knowledge developed in the world of research in order to solve the day to day problems of those who want to guarantee the quality and health value of their products.
The scientific network. In addition to the advantages of its position in the Science Park, Tecna is also part of an international scientific network. This proximity to fundamental research allows Tecna to develop new basic research techniques as well as to supply information tailor made to the client's needs.
Tecna produces innovative diagnostic systems. This means systems which are fast, easy to use and designed to efficiently guarantee the quality of the product, in the field or in the laboratory.
Tecna's research aimed at guaranteeing the quality of meat, cereals and dairy products, preventing food adulteration, and controlling the health of animals and plants through tests that are fast, efficient and certifiable.
Tecna's kits may be used directly at the company plant, avoiding waste of time waiting the results of the analysis given to external laboratories.
Tecna therefore produces: Test kits for food contaminant monitoring programs: mycotoxins, veterinary drug residues; Components for pre-treatments of samples (i.e. immuno-affinity gel); References materials (analytical quality control); Analytical standards; Equipment for immunoassays.
