Quality control of cereals and seeds Pfeuffer is a certified manufacturer of systems for the whole quality control process of grains with experience of more than 50 years. Representative samples are the cornerstone for the precision of the lab analysis. They offer the full range of sample takers like sample spears, pneumatic samplers and inline samplers as well as sample dividers and cleaners. Pfeuffer’s product line contents portable moisture meters as well as fully automatic capacitive analysers for all types of grain and seeds. It includes hectolitre testing systems, sieving machines, dockage testers, seed counters, lab mills, pellet mills and grinders. The third product line is the DuoLine Star temperature detection system for a wide range of applications from farm storage halls up to big silo plants.

Sample Divider Vario

Accurately dividing samples of grain, seed and other products to the desired sample size in one operation.
In laboratories variable dividers can be used for very precise dividing of different materials. A lot of labour time is saved compared with the “riffle type” and “boerner“ dividers. In addition to this the required sample size can be obtained both more easily and accurately.
The sample is poured through a hopper and slides down a rotating tube which passes a number of variable outlets leading to the sample trays. Sample material between the variable outlets is surplus. Example (model 2):
4 kg of sample divided into 2 samples of 1 kg each. (sample and duplicate). The handle is moved to position 4 on the scale. Start the divider. Pour the sample into the hopper and wait approx. 20 sec. Sample and duplicate sample are now ready.

• Model 1 G/1-4 for grains, 1 sample, 4 outlets of which 1, 2 or 3 can be covered to obtain larger divid. ratios
• Model 1 F/1-4 for flours, as 1 G/1-4 but with 70° slope
• Model 2H for grains, 2 samples (sample + duplicate)
• Model 2L 2 samples, vibration feeder
• Model 4-8 for grains, with options for 4 to 8 samples
• Model 8 for grains, 8 samples (optional: variabel)
• Model 32 32 samples for ring test analysis or collaborative studies
