RUMALATO (and GUSTOR XXI Ruminants)
GUSTOR XXI Ruminants and RUMALATO are production and growth physiological
promoters for ruminants as they stimulate the bacteria that convert lactic
acid into propionic acid.
GUSTOR XXI Ruminants includes the most active strains of Saccaromices cerevisiae
in order to enhance VFA activity.
RUMALATO is a reinforced combination of carboxylic acid salts suitable for
situations in which use of yeast is not recommended (high temperature treatments,
incorporation into premixes...).
Their composition, based on carboxylic acid salts achieves the growth of Selenomonas
ruminantium, key bacteria for rumen regulation and as such GUSTOR
XXI Ruminants and RUMALATO improve conversion of lactic acid to propionic by ruminal bacteria.
They also act as natural buffer to decrease the incidence of acidosis and increase
energetic efficiency of the diets by increasing production speed of propionic
acid.
Both products act as:
Stimulant for bacteria that use lactic acid as a substrate (Selenomonas ruminantium),
converting it into propionic acid or energy that can be metabolised by ruminants.
Reduce acetic: propionic ratio, due to the increment of propionic acid synthesis.
Biological buffer, To prevent the in pH caused by a diet rich in rapidly fermenting
glucides, hence preventing dysfunction in the ruminative microbial flora.
Increase microbial synthesis, leading to a higher disposal of bacterial proteins
in the intestine.
Eliminate or decrease production of methane gas and increase VFA synthesis,
thereby achieving greater use of the diet, a lower conversion rate, higher
propionate: acetate ratio and, in short, increased production and cost savings
in terms of feed.
Improves the digestibility of fibre by stimulating the growth of ruminal bacteria
that digest cellulose (increases the number of cellulolytic bacteria).
Helps maintain just the right balance and conditions for microbial flora in
the rumen, enhancing their composition and efficiency.
