Engineer Gabriel,
Traditionally the powdered milk has been used as source of lactose in diet of pigs, it compares the price with the milky serum, and if it is economic you use it.
I don't recommend to use in mature animals, the mature mammals lack renina and lactasa to digest the milk, it is uneconomical.

I Had the experience with 30 tons of powdered milk confiscated to a company that stored it with it dates of expired expiration, as it is not safe for human consumption it was donated us. Initially I gave it pure without diluting it. The consumption was low for what I/you/they were hit in the palate. A PEARSON was made for protein at the 18 with corn and he/she mixed. I count him that there were animals that won 1.325 daily kilos, what happens it is that it is a situation outside of the normal thing, but that you can use in adults if, all it feeds it from the 20 kilos I used it and problem some was not presented. Did he/she see them one to those pigs to grow newspaper, problems? The manure sticks to the floor and it is difficult to remove it, in the cellar it is attractive for the rats and there is the problem there, the illnesses that transmit. In pigs in combination with a good fish flour, it is an excellent matter it prevails.
