Good article! Our lab has developed a recombinant antiviral peptide that has been shown by PCR to eliminate viruses from prawns. We shall soon be testing goldfish as a model for KHV infections in a bid to potentially produce iSPF (instant Specific Free Broodstock) Koi breeders using this extraordinary antiviral drug.
