Re: News - AGRANCO’s Vibrex re-approved as Drinking Water Treatment Chemical
I am a strong advocate of water sanitation, in the holistic management of water borne diseases of poultry in the developing countries. With poor water and sewage disposal, poultry production in many third world counties are prone to high degree of water born diseases such as fowl thyphoid, pseudomonas and Ecoli/colibacillosis
Recent field studies in Nigeria by this contributor, showed heavy polution of some shallow wells and even bore holes in some cases.
With high increase in resistance occurrences to many available antibiotics on the field,
heavy water polution can precipitate frequent recycling of Bacteria infection.
My recently completed study on factors potentiating bacteria resistances to antibiotics in West Africa thoroughly explains the variables.
I believe that potent water disinfectans would assist practitioners to design efficient treatment and control of water pollution consequences on clinical health of poultry in Africa.
Thanks.
