MS Piglet treatment trolley, standard

With this specially developed trolley a pig-breeder can treat newborn piglets quickly and efficiently. In one process the piglets can be docked, castrated and given an iron injection. Their teeth can be cut or ground at the same time. The litter of piglets is removed from the pen and placed in one of the piglet boxes on the trolley. As the first treatment is done, the piglets are moved to the second piglet-box, and back again with the next treatment. This moving from one box to the other continues until all piglets have received all the required treatments, when they are returned to the farrowing pen. This work can all be done at a proper working posture. Under normal circumstances, after this short treatment cycle, it will not be necessary to expose the piglets to such stressful conditions in the farrowing pen again. The trolley is fitted with a rack with plastic p.v.c. tubes with sealed bases. The tubes, which for example are intended for holding syringes, can be filled with an alcohol solution for disinfecting the needles prior to injection. This prevents the occurrence of infection and injection marks. It is also easy to store an electric tooth grinder. Normally three small and two middle sized tubes are used. The trolley also has one extra long tube, for example for holding extended hypodermic syringes and vaccination lances.
The MS piglet treatment trolley consists of a stainless steel trolley fitted with two normal wheels and four swivel wheels. It is supplied as standard with two robust plastic piglet boxes and three syringe/medicine boxes. Any dung will fall through the perforated bottom of the piglet box onto a stainless steel plate and can be removed easily. The MS piglet treatment trolley is maintenance-free and easy to clean.
