LEVUCELL SC is a concentrated live yeast specifically intended to enhance the nutrition and health of ruminants, especially useful for early lactation dairy cows and beef cattle finishing. The strain (Saccharomyces……CNCM I-1077) has been chosen for its specific properties :
. Stabilization of rumen pH and reduction in acidosis risk
. Stimulation of the microbial biomass of the rumen
. Stimulation of the enzymatic and cellulolytic activities in the rumen,
. Improvement of the anaerobic rumen environment (anaerobiosis)

Europe: On March 2007, Levucell® SC has been authorized in Europe as a zootechnical feed additive in dairy goats and sheep (E1711).
On July 2005, Levucell® SC, rumen specific live yeast, has been granted permanent authorisation from the EU (E1711) for use in bovine destined for dairy and meat production.
United States: Levucell® SC is considered GRAS by the FDA and complies with the AAFCO requirements for Active Dry Yeast.
Canada: Levucell® SC is registered in Canada CFIA 580390.
