DESCRIPTION
Lyophylized live vaccine against Newcastle Disease (ND) to provide tissular
immunity in birds.
COMPOSITION
Newcastle disease live virus vaccine contains type B1, La Sota strain, freeze-dried,
produced in SPF eggs.
INDICATIONS
The vaccine is used for vaccination and revaccination of healthy birds 1 day
or older for the prevention of ND.
The vaccination program should be prepared according to farm ubication, zootechnic
purpose, maternal antibody level, pathogenicity of field strains and immune
status of birds. Consult your poultry pathologist before vaccination.
In broilers, the use of the vaccine is recommended at hatch, or at 8 –
12 days of age, revaccinating at 28-35 days of age if necessary.
In pullets, the use of the vaccine is recommended three or four times before
the onset of lay, with an interval of 3 to 5 weeks between applications. It
can also be applied simultaneously with emulsified vaccines. During the stage
of lay apply every 2 to 3 months.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
The vaccine can be administered by ocular, spray or drinking water routes.
No other method or route is suggested or implied.
PACKING
Box containing 10 vials of 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 doses each.
STORAGE CONDITIONS :
Store in the dark, between 2-70C (35-45oF). Do not freeze.
Avoid direct exposure to solar rays.
PRECAUTIONS
Vaccinate only healthy birds.
Use entire content when first opened. Do not store partially used containers
of vaccine for future use. Burn vaccine containers and unused content.
