I Agree with many of my colleagues as for the handling of the hernias on Pig Industry (apart from the aesthetic problem that this it represents there is not OTHER). As they mention, the intervention is uneconomical. I have done a high number of pigs with hernias from the 35-40kg up to the 95-100kg, where the productive yields have not had variations with regarding the healthy ones.
