Glycerine & GLYCERINE 99
Glycerol as a by-product of biodiesel production in Diets for ruminants
Glycerols of three different purities (low, medium, high) reflected different stages of the same process of rapeseed oil methyl ester production. The most pronounced variations among purities were the concentrations of water, glycerol, phosphorus and methanol .
FIELDS OF APPLICATION are as follows:
ƒÞ Glycerine is an excellent dust-binder for premixes, mineral feed, milk replacer and other feedstuffs.
ƒÞ it is a special source of energy for milking cows to be used as a media for ketoses prophylactics
.
ƒÞ up to 10 in creep feed to improve the palatability and energy level.
ƒÞ Glycerine acts as a pelletising agent. It can be used up to 8 in pelletised feed ( acc. to tests of the IFF-Institute at Braunschweig/Germany)
ƒÞ In case of elevated dosage of molasses in the feed the use of Glycerine should be accordingly reduced.
ƒÞ Glycerine retains the humidity content in the feed
