he/she Wanted to know that area needs for an installation in which 10 stomaches that material is better entered and its distribution of this the area is climate tempered in the area of Hidalgo. Thank you.

Hello Luis, I am educational of Pig Industry, that that always, I have known it is that the calculations of the areas to build, are made keeping in mind, the synchronization that will be of the services or you mount, and for each reproductive event you establish each room. Each sow in productive stage, gestation for example requires so among 4 square meters that it will use during the 114 days of pregnancy, when it synchronizes the jealousies he/she will know how many gestation corrals he/she will need. And this way for each reproductive event. At the end he/she only multiplies for the number of stomaches. I wait you have understood each other.

Greetings my friends:

I explain to him as calculating the requirements of structures for a farm of pigs.

For a facilities that 10 stomaches enter (understands each other to maternity or to register) it is calculated dividing the total number of stomaches in the farm among 26 weeks. It is assumed that you want that the production is staggered, that is to say that the production is distributed but or less same during the whole year. It is assumed that at least you will have two childbirths to the minimum year. For that reason it is divided among 26 weeks. The number that gives you is the quantity of sows average that you will have to register per week and to its you see the quantity average that you/they arrived to maternity. Of here esteems how many childbirths there will be per month. You should have corrals of maternity for an extra week, so that you take the sows one week before the approximate date of childbirth. The rest of the sows that you/they are not in maternity will be in gestation and registering. With the quantity of sows that you/they are weaned you will know how many padrotes you need and obviously how many census corrals they should have. He/she remembers everything it will depend of like you go to mercadear, days of weaning, census type that will be practiced in the farm etc.

If you want that the biggest production comes out for a time in specific all this it changes.

As for materials we in Puerto Rico recommend structures without walls and use of tubes, because the climate is warm. If the climate is tempered you should consider the one that the structures are closed with climate control (heater)etc.
