Emject E + A
DESCRIPTION
Each ml contains: 300 International Units (I.U.) vitamin E (as d-alpha-tocopherol) and 200,000 I.U. vitamin A (as retinyl palmitate) compounded with 20 ethyl alcohol and 1 benzyl alcohol (preservative) in an emulsifiable base.
Supplied in 250 ml multi-dose amber glass vials.
INDICATIONS
EMJECT E+A is a clear, sterile, non-aqueous solution of vitamin E and vitamin A. This product is intended as a supplemental source of vitamin E and vitamin A.
Natural tocopherols and carotenoids in feedstuffs can be destroyed through processing, ensiling, and storage. A reduced vitamin E and vitamin A intake can result in marginal deficiencies that may not be visible. Intramuscular or subcutaneous injections offer an efficient and rapid method to increase vitamin E and vitamin A status of animals.
For Gilts/Sows - Has been shown to enhance embryonic survival, producing more live pigs at birth and weaning, and increasing the vitamin E status of reproducing pigs to higher levels in colostrum and milk to assist piglet immune status. A strategic pre-breeding injection of vitamins A and E offers an economical means to increase breeding performance by reducing non-productive sow days and increasing pigs per liter.
