Sulfaquinoxaline

This substance is yellowish or yellow powder, inodorous. It¡¯s easy to soluble in natrium hydroxydatum solution, slightly soluble in alcohol, but insoluble in water or ethylether.

Pharmacological Action:

The action mechanism of Sulfaquinoxaline is to inhibit the Dihydrofolate synthetase to encumber the nucleate synthesis of bacterium and coccidian its active peak to coccidian is at the second schizont stage (the fourth day of coccidial life cycle), so it will not affect the anti-coccidial immunity in chicken. It has more effective therapeutic efficacy to coccidiosis, as it has a certain bacteriostatic action.

Indication:

- Poultry: Sulfaquinoxaline has the strongest anti-coccidian effect to E.maxima, E.brunetti, E.acervulina. It will enlarge the anti-coccidian spectrum and strengthen the anti-coccidian effect combining with Amprolium or Trimethoprim.
It was fed at 150~175mg/kg in feed, and it also has a good prophylactic effect to turkey.
Other: Sulfaquinoxaline is used to prevent coccidiosis to young ruminate and small animal.
- Rabbit coccidiosis, Sulfaquinoxaline was added in feed at 250mg/kg for 30days continuously, or at 1000mg/kg for 2 weeks to effectively control the symptom of the coccidiosis in rabbit. Or Sulfaquinoxaline sodium added in water at 300mg/L, the effect will better.

- Mink isosporiasis: Sulfaquinoxaline sodium was added in water at 240mg/L, it will effectively inhibit the discharge of oocyst.
- Cow coccidiosis: Sulfaquinoxaline was added in feed at concentration of 0.1 for 7~9 days continuously.
- Lamb coccidiosis: Sulfaquinoxaline sodium was added in water at concentration of 250mg/L for 2~5d, it will effectively cure the coccidiosis.

Usage and dosage:

Sulfaquinoxaline mixed with feed directly, chicken: per 1000kg feed contain 125g .
Sulfaquinoxaline and Diaveridine mixed with feed directly, chicken: per 1000kg feed contain 500g.
Sulfaquinoxaline sodium dissolubility powder mix with the water directly, chicken: 3~5g/L in water.
Sulfaquinoxaline and Trimethoprim mix with the water directly, chicken: 0.28g/L in water.

Precautions:

(1) It can not be used for 5 days continously.
(2) It can not be used in laying period.

Withdrawal period: 10 days.
Packing: 20kg/carton (2 ¡Á 10kg/bag inside).

Storage: Preserve in well-closed, light-resistant and dry place.
