Fully stainless steel: case, tank and basket (basket is standard delivered together with the product). Stainless steel increases the lifetime of the product compared to cheaper plastic versions. Every ultrasonic cleaner gets warm, expands and the stainless steel tank will place pressure on the plastic (crack risk). Further the cheap ultrasonic cleaner will have a plastic basket which absorps a lot of the vibrations and therefore the ultrasonic process is not very efficient. The plastic cover always contains a crack risk.

Ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning a variety of instruments such as hypodermic syringes and forceps. It is no longer necessary to sterilize conventionally. The addition of the special cleaning fluid to the warm water in the tank increases the cleaning capability. Cleaning normally takes 5 to 15 minutes but for severe contamination, the cleaning time should be extended by 30 minutes. The ultrasonic cleaner has two main parts -a tank and a generator which causes millions of microscopic vacuum cavities in the solution. These cavities are then pressed together by the increasing frequency (a cavity is larger at 30 Khz, than at 40 Khz). Eventually the pressure causes the cavity to implode and this creates a powerful post-vacuum. This creates pressure of over 300 kg, per square centimeter and a temperature of around 1000ºC. This process is called electronic scrubbing, cleaning every inch of the items immersed in the solution, including inaccessible parts, which cannot be cleaned conventionally. Supplied as standard with basket and cover. Internal dimension: 30 x 15 x 10 cm.

USING ADVICE

It is recommend to stay in the neighboorhood at every new cleaning process. This in order to be able to adjust to undesired side effects (for instance cleaning aluminium too long will result in black spots)
Optimum cleaning resuls with the cleaning in ultrasonic baths require the aplication of appropriate cleaning agents. These must especially be adjusted for the ultrasonic method. The agents have to remove the soliing thoroughly and to be at the same time gentle to the material of the parts to be cleaned and to the ultrasonic components (oscillating tub, immersible transducers, etc.)Many industrial and household cleaners are not suitable for the ultrasonic cleaning. They may contain aggressive compounds e.g. certain acids or chloride ions which can attack the stainless steel of the oscillating tub. Also they normally do not support the ultrasonic effect. With the use of water without any appropriate admixture an ultrasonic cleaning is not possible. Solvents like gasoline, alcohol, acetone, cold cleaner etc. must not be used in ultrasonic baths directly because of their flammability and explosion hazard.
