PRETIMPAN
DESCRIPTION
Suspensible oral powder with antibload properties for the treatment of rumen imbalances in ruminants.
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
The chewing process is a model of the microbiological balance where several species of bacteria feed from a fibrous base and produce a nutritive large pill prepared to be digested later on. This equilibrium can be disturbed because of changes of feed, ingestion of cold feed, feed too rich in legumes, feed contaminated with bacteria or toxins or after antibiotic treatments that disturb biota. The consequences of any of this changes are stop of chewing, putrefaction biota growth and gas production. These cause a foam, that can not be removed in esophagus finishing in a reticular-ruminal and abdominal distension.
To establish the good balance there are three combined actions: correction of diet, antibload administration (methylsilicone) and antibiotic administration to kill putrefaction biota (like penicillin).
To establish the good balance three actions should be combined together: correction of the diet, administration of antibloads (methylsilicone) and administration of antibiotics to kill the pathogenic microbiota (like penicillin).
INDICATIONS AND SPECIES
Intended for sheep, goats and cattle in the treatment of meteorism (gas accumulation in rumen expanding ruminal walls), indigestion and ruminal overload.
