DESCRIPTION

Sulphamethoxypyridacine and trimethoprim in oral and injectable solution.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

The association of sulphamides and trimethoprim is widely known because of the synergism that exists between them. It possesses a wide action spectrum for accompanying germs of mycoplasmosis: Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Pasteurella. It has a good organic diffusion.

Sulphamethoxypyridacine is a sulphamide with a good absorption and distribution, achieving high pulmonary concentrations. It acts through competitive antagonism with para-aminobenzoic acid.

INDICATIONS AND SPECIES

Intended for poultry, pigs, sheep, goats and cattle in the treatment of :

Respiratory diseases: C.R.D of poultry, rhinitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, bronchopneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis, pasteurelosis.
Gastrointestinal diseases: enteritis, peritonitis, pneumoentheric diseases and gastritis.
Local and general infections.
