Injectable Solution
Parasympathiclytic agent

FORMULA: Atropine (as sulphate) 300 mg; excipients q.s. ad 100 mL

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: Parasympathiclytic agent; acting as antispasmodic it diminishes or eliminates spasms of smooth muscle. It also reduces bronchial and salivary secretions during anesthesia. In ophthalmology, it is useful in eye explorations. Cardiac accelerator. It is an effective antidote for eserine, arecoline, pilocarpine, morphine and chlorophorm. Antidote for intoxications produced by organophosphorus or arsenical compounds.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous routes.
Cattle and equines 1.5 -2 ml for each 100 Kg of body weight. Ovines, porcines and south american camelids 0.5 -1 ml for each 50 Kg of body weight. Minor species 0.15 – 0.20 ml for each 10 Kg of body weight.
Repeat in accordance to symptoms.
