Iron Dextran Injection

Medicine Name: Iron Dextran Injection
Description:Iron Dextran Injection is a dark brown, colloidal liquid. The main ingredients are Dextran and ferric chelate.

* Indication

1.preventing and curing iron-deficiency anemia in piglets, then promoting its growth. This product is also effective on grown-up animals such as pig, oxen, house and sheep, etc.
2.Treatment for blood loss anemia (caused by excessive loss of blood, eperythrozoonosis, toxoplasmosis and Chronic blood loss) and malnutritional anemia.

* Usage and Dosage:

Piglets: for the prevention of anemia.
Intramuscular injection: 1-2ml/time between the 2nd and the 4th day after birth.
Grown-up pig:
Intramuscular injection: 2ml/time for curing malnutritional anemia, blood loss anemia and fight for irritability
Female pig:
Intramuscular injection£º2ml/time.1 time/week during 3weeks to antepartum and the end of lactation.

* Remarks

1 Aderse reactions have not been observed on recommend dosage, but excessively injection cause acute toxicity, show calor febrilis, dyspnea, hypotension.
2. Intramuscular inject may cause the partial ache, to be supposed the deeply intramuscularly
3. To have to refrigerate, the long time sets may have the precipitation, have no influence on safety and therapeutic effect.
4. The injection excessively is extremely easy with the iron tonic to be poisoned,therefore should strictly control the dosage.
