BEYOND THE TORNADO:
Natural Technologies (The Calm after the Storm), the
19th International Symposium Alltech of the Feed Industry for Animals
2003 came to an end.

With more than 70 presentations
of multiple specialists and 1106 professions related from all over the
world attending to the 7th Dairy Cattle Course; the 6th Annual Equine
Course; the 5th Conference of Pig Industry; the 5th Annual Pets Conference;
the 17th Annual Poultry Conference; and this year for the first time,
conferences about Aquaculture and Agronomics.
It did not even pass 20 years since the first Symposium in 1984, which
was attended by 43 persons. Today, Alltech
is placed among the 20 most important companies in the area worldwide.
It counts on 1300 employees, and spreads its presence in 76 countries

rewards the Excellence in
Bioscience. This year
Professor Trevor Smith
from Guelph University
received the Medal, to acknowledge his work based on the demonstration
of efficacy and performance of natural solutions against Mycotoxins.

Inge Russell (Heriot-Watt
University - Edimburgh - Scotland)
She brought an excellent conference on a new technology: Using technologies
of blue sky to creat a greener and safer planet.
