In Oct.8, 2003, Chinese Prime Minister----Wenjiabao, in 7th Leader Session of China and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (10+1), declared, in order to promote the business cooperation between parties, China suggests that the exposition of China- Association of Southeast Asian Nations will be held once a year in Guangxi Nanning since 2004. This suggestion was committed and supported by the leaders of each participating nation.
Grain agriculture product is the key merchandise of great deal of trade between China and Southeast Asian Nations. In order to fully utilize the geological advantage of Guangxi and increase the influence of exposition of Association of Southeast Asian Nations is effectual, the China (Nanning) Southeast Asia Exhibition For Grain Agriculture Products and Green Food & Grain Agriculture Processing Technology and Equipment Exhibition, an event with the special and topmost professionalism of the industry, will be held in Nanning once a year; this is designed to establish a trade platform of grain agriculture products and green food for the free trade region of China and Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and to further accelerate the trade contact and development of grain agriculture products of China with Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
