Injectable solution
High concentration, extra long action
FORMULA: Oxytetracyline dihydrate 300 mg; long action excipients
on non pyrrolidonic carrier q.s. ad 1 mL.
INDICATIONS: Prevention and treatment of respiratory complex
of fattening bovines. Other diseases caused by microorganisms that are sensitive
to oxytetracycline (Gram- and Gram+ bacteria): anaplasmosis, pietin (foot rot),
bacterial enteritis, onfalophlebitis, polyarthritis, leptospirosis, listerosis,
metritis, pasteurellosis, keratoconjunctivitis, pneumonia, metritis-mastitis-agalactacia
syndrome (MMA). Effective oxytetracycline plasmic levels are obtained with
Duramicyn® 300 L.A., as far as 7 days after one single administration,
obtaining a much more sustained action than with conventional L. A. oxytetracyclines
(20%).
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Deep intramuscular or subcutaneous
route. For severe infections: 1 mL/10 kg of weight (30 mg/kg). For moderate
and light infections: 1 mL/15 kg of weight.
COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION:
Glass vial of 10 mL, glass vial of 20 mL, glass vial of 50 mL, glass vial of
100 mL, glass vial of 250 mL.
