Duo-Pack Star Diluent 47,5 gram, semen diluent
This diluent, which has been especially made for Schippers, contains the broad-spectrum antibiotic Gentamycin. The new duo-pack consists of an A-component (antibiotic and buffer) and a B-component(supplements and PH-buffer). This is to ensure that no chemical reactions take place during storage, so improving quality.
A number of famous institutes have demonstrated advantages of this product when compared to other diluents as follows:
-The sperm cells show little or no damage
-The motility of the sperm cells is increased
-The solution produces almost no foam.
The following conclusions are proven in practice:
-Higher conception rate
-Higher numbers of piglets born alive
-Viability of diluted semen at least 10 days.
Star Diluent can be stored without discolouration for up to 1.5 years after manufacture, provided that it is stored in the dark and at room temperature. Dissolve in one litre of pure water at 32ºC.
