MICROBIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:

Chlorhexidine salts have a very wide range of applications as a antibacterial and as a preservative in the fields of human and animal health and cosmetics. It is proven effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. It also has a fungicidal and sporicidal effect as well. Chlorhexidine kills bacteria on contact and has a residual effect that prevents microbial regrowth after application.

HUMAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY IN USING CHLORHEXIDINE SALTS:

Chlorhexidine salts are approved drugs by the US DFA and by European pharmacoepia, and is widely used for various human and animal formulations.
