Endectocide
FORMULA: Ivermectin 2 g, slow liberation vehicle and formulation
agents qs ad 100 mL.
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: Wide spectrum antiparasitary. It
is indicated in the treatment and control of internal parasitosis (gastrointestinal
and pulmonary nematodes) as well as external parasitosis in bovines: Internal
parasitosis produced by gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes; external
parasitosis produced by nuche or tupe, acarus of mange, sucking lice, ticks,
myiasis. In porcines, camelids, ovines, caprines and canines: gastrointestinal
and pulmonary parasites, sucking lice, acarus of mange.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Subcutaneous injectable route.
The dose for pigs is 303 mcg/kg of weight, which in practice is equivalent
to 1 mL/17 kg of body weight. For other species, the dose is 200 micrograms/kg
of weight, which in practice is equivalent to 1 mL/25 kg of body weight.. For
doses higher than 10 mL we recommend to divide the dose and apply
in two sites.
COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION: Bottle of 20 mL, Bottle of 50 mL,
Bottle of 100 mL, Bottle of 250 mL and Bottle of 500 mL.
