Good work, congratulations to the authors. I should add that in my personal experience, applying the exogenous gonadotropinas to sows anéstricas, it is advisable to inseminate after the third day, although these don't present cycles of perceptible estro. When sacrificing female multíparas anéstricas between the 2º and 4º post-treatment HCG/eCG, we have found until 98% of ovaries with bodies hemorrágicos starting from the third day, and lúteos after the 4º day. Apparently, this implies that a sow anéstrica, after the treatment, it can be inseminated to the third day, with the opportunity that it is gestante. If the farm produces its own semen, inseminating to these sows anéstricas/tratadas/sin signs apparent post-treatment, it is since a profitable option the cost of the used doses it doesn't increase in a significant way the production expenses, with the advantage of being able to shorten open days. Eye: this indication is only really profitable when the female has demonstrated her previous productivity, you/he/she is under good conditions, you/he/she is not too old, and certainly her anestro is not cause of a failure in the detection of jealousies. |
