Re: Article - Toxicological Synergism between Fusarium Mycotoxins in Feeds

This paper is very important as the combined/synergist effect of mycotoxins in particular Fusarium toxins has not been explored to any degree. Because Fusarium species can produce a suite of toxins with very different effects at the cellular level it seems to me that this is not only of great importance in in animal production but also in human exposure and disease. We routinely find combination of Fusarium toxins alongside other in the maize eaten by South African rural black people. It is hardly surprising that chronic disease plus AIDS is rife amongst these people.
