Anyone still market less than 23 pigs per sow per year?
In this tough market only the most efficient producers will survive so if you are not hitting your targets for pigs out the door, somewhere close to 25 pigs marketed per sow per year then a change in genetics may be in order. Our customers consistently hit targets well above this mark with many marketing over 26 pigs anually to slaughter. They are top slaughtering pigs at most slaughter houses around the world with extremely efficient feed conversions( very important in todays market with high feed costs). We ship boars gilts and semen world wide with offices in most parts of the world , we have years of experience exporting to most countrys from our top high health status herds. I can be reached at deleted by the system or deleted by the system to talk directly to Jim Long (my boss and market commentator) about what your needs are or just to chat about the market in your corner of the world.
