DESCRIPTION

Sodium ampicillin in soluble powder.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

Belonging to the group of beta-lactamic antibiotics, ampicillin is able to penetrate Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria: Salmonella, Shigella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Corynebacterium, Clostridium, E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pasteurella and Haemophillus. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, which ultimately leads to cell lysis.

SPECIES & INDICATIONS

Intended for poultry, pigs, sheep, goats and cattle in the treatment of:
- Poultry: onfalits, salmonellosis and C.R.D. For one-day-old chicks it is ideal as a general antibiotic.
- Pigs and ruminants: enteritis, reproductive infections and pneumonia. In pigs it is the ideal product for decreasing the microbial concentration in the intestine and for the continuous treatment in reproductive animals.
