ALQUERNAT ZYCOX
DESCRIPTION
Coccidiostatic of natural origin, formulated with plant extracts.
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
ALQUERNAT ZYCOX is a premix of natural origin, consisting of natural extracts of Holarrhena antidysenterica, Berberis aristata, Allium sativa and Embelia ribes. These plants contribute pronutrients which, incorporated in the feed, optimize the intestinal mucus of the animal and impede the intraepithelial invasion of intestinal and cecal coccidiosis.
The optimizer effect of the intestinal mucus is caused by the mutual action of various pronutrients present in different plants. Some of these are the following:
- Acid alfa sulphur-allin present in the bulb of Allium sativum.
- Berberine present in the root of Berberis aristata.
- Acid embelic (2,5- di- OH-3 undecil-1,4-benzoquinona) present in the fruit of Embelia ribes.
- Connesina and holarrhenina present in the bark of Holarrhena antidysenterica.
The mechanism that produces the optimizer effect of these pronutrients on the intestinal mucus is the following:
- DIRECTLY on the intestinal mucus, optimizing its functioning, strengthening it and obstructing the intracellular invasion of the coccidiosis during the first phase of the reproductive cycle of the parasite (asexual phase, in which the intestinal epithelium is damaged.
- INDIRECTLY on the immune system, as an immune booster, activating the unspecific local immune response, through the phagocytic cells and intra epithelial lymphocytes of the digestive and respiratory mucus.
INDICATIONS AND SPECIES
