DESCRIPTION

Mycotoxin binder in powder premix.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

Silicates are chemical compounds with an structure capable to retain the three-dimensional structure of mycotoxins, preventing them from being absorbed in the digestive tract. Upon contact with the mycotoxins, they form hydrogen bonds with mycotoxins. Mycotoxins bonded to silicates pass through the intestinal tract of the animals without causing lesions in the intestinal walls (enteritis) and without being absorbed (mycotoxicosis). ALQUERFEED ANTITOX is composed of silicates that act as mycotoxin binders. Calcium, aluminum and sodium ions are inserted in the structure of the silicate, increasing its capacity to bind mycotoxins as they provide the suitable distances between the oxygen molecules to form the hydrogen bonds.

ALQUERFEED ANTITOX does not absorb in its structure other products like vitamins, enzymes or pharmaceuticals.

INDICATIONS AND SPECIES

It can be used for the production of feed for all species and ages to avoid enteritis and mycotoxicosis caused by the ingestion of contaminated feed.
